1. Establish a training plan

Management provides training avenues for all team members.

Make someone the lead person for the shop to coordinate training.

Start with assessments to wisely use training time.
2. Work towards a minimum 40 hours per year

Start with at least 10 hours of classroom training

30 hours of instructor-led training

10 hours of online courses

ASE certifications required within one year of assignment by owner

Combination of Management, Technical, ASE Test Prep, and Safety Training
3. Require and compensate training
